Help with accessible housing!

Hey fam! We have a really exciting housing opportunity!

Our landlord offered us a 2 bedroom apartment that is WAY more accessible for our needs as a chronically ill & disabled single parent. And it’s literally like 30 feet over, so it’s a super easy move! You can see more HERE: https://www.instagram.com/p/DIukqrfP1B3/

Our only concern is the rent. We still don’t make enough money (yet) for our basic living expenses, but we are also having major struggles in our current home.

This new home would offer:

💚 a room for our kid so they don’t have to sleep in the kitchen anymore

💚 a VERY MUCH needed wheelchair accessible shower

💚 storage/closets to declutter the home & avoid pests/fire hazards

💚dishwasher to help us keep up with dishes & avoid pests/mold (dishes are one of the hardest chores to keep up with due to our chronic pain & disabilities so our sink is never empty 😫)

💚 laundry unit to be able to wash bedding & linens in a more appropriate timeframe to keep up with personal & home hygiene
