This is a mailing list for those folks who feel they can support with the variety of needs of Alex's long term health care.

Alex lives with multiple chronic illnesses, physical disabilities, and mental health challenges and can’t work enough to cover their basic/necessary expenses. They also regularly struggle with survival things like cooking, eating, showering, laundry, and cleaning the house. This is likely permanent for Alex, and due to living in a deeply ableist system/culture, they are trying to figure out how to continue to survive and thrive.

They are developing this network to hopefully continue receiving community care in a way that doesn’t drain others, and feels accessible for all involved. Alex will need a variety of assistance like help with certain services/physical care, research.on symptoms/resources, and helping crowd fund for financial stability.

The more folks who can join this circle, the less stress Alex’s care will be put on them/ the few folks who are helping them right now. Alex also commits to regularly pay this community care forward through helping raise funds for others who need mutual aid, facilitating free/donation based community peer support & affinity spaces, helping disabled/ill community secure resources or tools to manage their pain & symptoms, free spiritual & mental health peer support to QT/BIPOC community, helping provide food & weather protecting resources to local houseless community members, AND MORE! All of your support in Alex gives them more capacity to show up for others! Thank you for your service and commitment to a new world in which we are all provided and cared for.
